Community Demands Essential Facilities for Ganesh Utsav

In preparation for a grand and peaceful Ganesh Utsav and Shobha Yatra in Tulsipur, Balrampur, the Central Shri Ganesh Puja Committee has formally requested essential basic amenities from the local administration. Led by committee president Dilip Gupta, officials submitted a memorandum urging regular cleaning and lime sprinkling around puja pandals, road repairs, and adequate lighting along the Shobha Yatra routes.

Enhanced Lighting and Sanitation for Procession Routes

The committee specifically requested proper lighting, including high-mast lights, at key intersections, Old Bazaar, and Purwa areas. Significant emphasis was placed on ensuring sufficient water and cleanliness at the immersion sites to prevent any inconvenience to devotees.

Upholding Dignity and Social Harmony During Religious Observance

With a focus on smooth religious proceedings and devotee convenience, the committee appealed to the administration to keep meat and egg shops closed or temporarily relocate them during the festival period. This measure, they believe, will uphold the festival's dignity and strengthen social harmony.

Furthermore, the committee prominently raised the demand for ensuring adequate availability of drinking water for devotees. They stressed that Ganesh Utsav is a festival of social unity and solidarity, and celebrating it with dignity is a collective responsibility.

Call for Public Cooperation and Disciplined Celebration

The memorandum was submitted by committee officials and workers, including Shivam Agrhari, Vaibhav Gupta, Shivam Modanwal, Rahul Gupta, Akash, Himanshu, Sushil, Shivam Soni, and Abhay Sahu. The committee urged all residents to cooperate with the administration's efforts and celebrate the festival with discipline, aiming for an unimpeded and memorable event for everyone.
