Fair Launched in Balrampur for Farmer Grievances

Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh | September 22, 2026 - A committee-level survey and 'satta' exhibition fair, along with a grievance redressal program, was inaugurated today at the Cooperative Sugarcane Development Committee Limited in Tulsipur, Balrampur district.

The primary objective of this event is to ensure swift resolution of issues faced by sugarcane farmers, with a specific focus on timely settlement of objections related to the survey and 'satta' processes.

Inauguration and Farmer Engagement

The fair was inaugurated by cutting a ribbon by the outgoing District President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Pradeep Singh. As the chief guest, he engaged in direct dialogue with the attending sugarcane farmers, attentively listening to their problems, suggestions, and objections.

He instructed the concerned officials and sugarcane supervisors to resolve all farmer-submitted objections according to rules and within the stipulated deadlines. Mr. Singh emphasized that farmers' interests are paramount and stressed the need for complete transparency in records to prevent any farmer from facing difficulties.

Extended Opportunity for Farmers

This special fair will run continuously from September 22 to September 28, 2026. During this period, sugarcane farmers can check their survey and 'satta' related details.

Should any farmer find discrepancies or have objections regarding their details, they can register them and receive an appropriate resolution. This initiative aims to help farmers ensure greater transparency and efficiency in their agricultural processes.

Active Participation and Support

During the program, sugarcane supervisors connected with farmers from their respective areas, actively working to understand and resolve their issues. Several officials and a large number of sugarcane farmers from the region were present.

Key attendees included Pradeep Singh (representing committee President Neelam Singh), committee secretary Rajesh Kumar, Senior Sugarcane Development Inspector Sunil Kumar Verma, Vice President Rajendra Prasad Shukla, Directors Manraj Singh and Madhav Chaudhary, along with other officials and staff.
