BSA Directives Ignored in Amritpur; Schools Closed Early
The Cliff News | Farrukhabad | October 31, 2026 Clear directives from District Basic Education Officer (BSA) Vishwanath, mandating the organization of special programs and morning rallies on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary, were flagrantly violated in the Amritpur tehsil area of Farrukhabad. Inspections conducted on Saturday revealed that numerous council schools were closed significantly before their scheduled times, raising serious questions about departmental functioning.
Inspections Reveal Widespread Non-Compliance
An inspection team visited the Samilian School Banarsipur at 10:10 AM to find it completely shut. Subsequently, the Primary School Kundri Saragpur had not even opened by 11:10 AM. The gravity of the situation escalated when, by 11:25 AM, the Purva Madhyamik School Makhan Nagla and the Primary School Makhan Nagla were also found closed. In the same vein, the locks on the Primary School Ramprasad Nagla remained unaddressed until 11:35 AM.
Absence of Scheduled Programs Sparks Outrage
Villagers expressed deep anger over this negligence. They reported waiting for nearly two hours for the schools to open, but teachers remained absent from their duties. According to residents, neither a morning rally was organized to commemorate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary, nor were children informed about his life and contributions. This situation clearly indicates a disregard for the BSA's explicit instructions.
Villagers Demand Action Against Negligent Teachers
Local citizens have demanded strict punitive action against the teachers responsible for this serious negligence. Villagers stated that such arbitrary conduct undermines the quality of the government education system. It remains to be seen what stance the departmental authorities will take in this matter and what necessary actions will be implemented.
