This initiative aims to provide essential assistive devices free of charge to eligible beneficiaries under the National Vayoshri Yojana and the ADIP Scheme.
Details of the Camp
The event will take place on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the Janpad Panchayat premises in Mahidpur, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Senior citizens aged 60 and above will receive various assistive devices under the National Vayoshri Yojana, including hearing aids, spectacles, artificial limbs, wheelchairs, and walkers, to facilitate their daily lives.
Eligibility and Required Documents
To avail the benefits of the National Vayoshri Yojana, beneficiaries must present their Aadhaar Card and income certificate. It is crucial to note that the beneficiary's monthly income should not exceed ₹15,000/-. For differently-abled individuals, the ADIP (Assistance to Disabled Persons for Purchase of Aids and Appliances) scheme will provide free assistive devices. Eligibility requires a Unique Disability ID (UDID) card indicating at least 40% disability. Other necessary documents include an Aadhaar Card, income certificate, and a self-attested certificate from a nominated representative/public representative.
