Agriculture Faculty Introduced in Government Schools, Boosting Higher Education and Regional Development

Major Educational Boost for Pathariya Students

In a significant development for students in the Pathariya assembly constituency of Damoh district, the government has approved the commencement of agriculture faculties in four government schools. This decision will enable local students to pursue quality education in agriculture within their own region, eliminating the need to travel far for higher studies.

Addressing Long-Standing Demand

This crucial initiative fulfills a long-standing demand of the Pathariya assembly constituency. The agriculture faculty will be introduced in government schools in Pathariya, Khaderi, Aslana, and Belapurwa. The establishment of these faculties is largely attributed to the persistent efforts of State Minister (Independent Charge), Department of Spirituality, Shri Lakhan Patel.

Driving Development Through Agricultural Education

The introduction of the agriculture faculty will provide students with knowledge in agricultural science, modern farming techniques, and diverse employment opportunities related to agriculture. This will not only open new avenues for higher education for students but is also expected to chart a new course for the development of the region's agricultural sector. State Minister Shri Patel stated that this will equip local youth with modern agricultural knowledge, enabling them to adopt innovations and contribute to increased production.

ITIs Set for Swift Launch

Furthermore, under the efforts of State Minister Shri Patel, the construction of new ITI buildings in Pathariya and Batiyagarh, each costing ₹13 crore, is nearing completion and is expected to be inaugurated soon. These ITI institutions will offer technical education to the region's youth, providing better employment opportunities and fostering self-reliance in the area.
