Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath honored 81 outstanding teachers from across the state at a grand ceremony in Gorakhpur on the occasion of Teacher's Day. The state-level award ceremony, held at the Yogiraj Baba Gambhirnath Prekshagriha, recognized educators for their exceptional contributions to the field of education.

Teachers were conferred with the State Teacher Award-2025 and the Chief Minister Teacher Award-2025. Notably, this was the first time the state-level teacher felicitation ceremony was organized in Gorakhpur instead of the capital, Lucknow, adding special significance to the event.

Out of the 81 honored teachers, 76 received the State Teacher Award-2025, while 5 were presented with the Chief Minister Teacher Award-2025. These awardees include 61 teachers from the Basic Education Department and 20 from the Secondary Education Department.
