Educational and Historical Tour in the Capital

Outstanding participants of the prestigious student parliament 'Laksharth 2026' have successfully completed a special educational and historical tour of the capital, Delhi. This tour was facilitated by Rajya Sabha Member from Madhya Pradesh, Smt. Maya Narolia.

The objective of this excursion was to provide young talents with direct exposure to the apex institutions of Indian democracy, thereby fostering civic responsibility and leadership qualities. This initiative by the Atulyam Welfare Society offered a unique opportunity to the winners of the 'Laksharth 2026' student parliament.

A Promise Fulfilled: Parliamentary Observation

Member of Parliament Narolia, who was the chief guest at the inauguration of 'Laksharth 2026', had announced her intention to invite the top-performing students to Delhi for a firsthand observation of the Indian Parliament. She emphasized the necessity for the younger generation to understand the parliamentary system not just from books but from a practical perspective.

In fulfillment of this promise, she sponsored a delegation of meritorious students for a tour of New Delhi, allowing them to witness the nation's democratic processes up close. Upon their arrival in Delhi, the student delegation meticulously observed the newly constructed and historic Parliament House complex. During this visit, they gained an in-depth understanding of the Indian constitutional system, legislative procedures, and the intricacies of parliamentary functioning.

Officials present provided them with detailed information about various parliamentary sessions, the process of bill enactment, and the roles of Members of Parliament. In addition to observing Parliament House, the student delegation also visited the Rashtrapati Bhavan (President's House). Here, they were informed about the dignity of the presidential office, the historical significance of Rashtrapati Bhavan, and its architectural grandeur.

The delegation also visited several other important cultural and historical landmarks of the country, including the National Museum and India Gate.
