Sensational Murder Case Unfolds in Bareilly

A sensational case of brutal murder has emerged in Faiznagar village, under the Bhuta police station area of Bareilly, concerning 45-year-old Pappu, who had been missing since the night of September 11. The police have arrested the victim's wife, Nargis, and her lover, Raja, in connection with the crime.

During interrogation, both accused confessed to their involvement and detailed how they conspired to kill Pappu. Initially, on September 15, Nargis had filed a missing person report at the police station, suspecting a young man named Raja of murdering her husband. However, as the police investigation progressed, Nargis's own role began to appear suspicious, and she couldn't maintain her statement under intense questioning, complicating the case.

Murder Plot Concocted with Lover

Police investigation revealed that Nargis had planned her husband Pappu's murder with her lover Raja. On the day of the incident, as per their plan, while Pappu was being killed, the accused wife Nargis held his legs, and her lover Raja strangled him to death with a plastic rope. To conceal the evidence, both stuffed the body into a sack and dumped it in the bushes near a brick kiln in the Bhuta police station area.

Subsequently, the accused misled the police by fabricating a story about throwing the body into the Bahgul river. After facing pressure and strict interrogation from the police, the accused finally revealed the correct location where they had disposed of the body. Acting on this information, the police reached the spot and recovered Pappu's body, enclosed in a sack, from the bushes.

Police Recover Body, Forensics Gather Evidence

Upon receiving the information, a forensic team also arrived at the scene and collected crucial evidence. SP South, Anshika Verma, stated that the body has been sent for post-mortem examination. The police will ensure further legal action based on the post-mortem report and the collected evidence.

The Bhuta police are thoroughly investigating this serious case to uncover all aspects of the incident.
