Grand Procession Held in Balrampur Demanding Krishna Janmabhoomi Liberation

Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh | September 12, 2026 - The Vishva Hindu Mahasangh organized a grand procession in Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh, calling for the complete liberation of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi from encroachment. The procession commenced from Gayatri Mandir, traversing major city routes before concluding at Hanuman Garhi Mandir, Veer Vinay Chowk.

The entire city was filled with devotion as citizens showered flowers upon the chariot at various points along the route. Prior to the procession, a Havan ritual was conducted. Following this, district president of Matrishakti, Sunita Tiwari, district in-charge Archana Singh, and hundreds of women performed Aarti for Sant Avdityanath. Sadhus, saints, and Mahasangh workers also paid their respects.

During the procession, the chariot carrying Lord Krishna was briefly halted, allowing devotees to perform prayers and Aarti. Participants continuously chanted slogans such as 'Krishna Lala hum aayenge, Mathura mukt karayenge' (We will come, Krishna, we will liberate Mathura).

1968 Division Labeled Betrayal; Act Criticized

Addressing a gathering at Hanuman Garhi Mandir, district president of Vishva Hindu Mahasangh, Chaudhary Vijay Singh, described the 1968 division of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi as a major betrayal of the Hindu community. He vehemently criticized the 1991 Places of Worship (Special Provisions) Act, deeming it a policy of appeasement.

Chaudhary Singh questioned why Mughal rulers only destroyed religious sites of deities to build mosques, when they could have constructed elsewhere. He expressed confidence that under the current administration, Sanatan Dharma will regain its eternal glory.

Mahasangh Responds to 'How Long Will Kanhaiya and Nandi Remain Imprisoned?'

Matrishakti district president Sunita Tiwari referenced Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's statement questioning, 'How long will Kanhaiya and Nandi remain imprisoned?'. She stated that the Vishva Hindu Mahasangh has accepted this concern as a challenge. Citing the guidance of three generations from Gorakhnath Peeth, the Mahasangh has now declared that Kanhaiya and Nandi will no longer be kept imprisoned. She reiterated the resolve for the protection of Sanatan Dharma and the liberation of the birthplace.

The event saw the participation of hundreds of workers and officials, including State President Social Media Ganga Sharma Kaushik, special guest D.P. Singh, Media in-charge Sherawali Shukla, Radheshyam Kaushal, Jai Singh, Jeevanlal, Mithilesh Giri, Ved Prakash Jaiswal, Vijay Pratap Soni, Sugriv Kashyap, Janak Ram Jaiswal, Basant Pandey, Shailendra Sharma, Ramkishan, Premnath Mishra, Kalideen, Prem Mishra, Ravi Yadav, Narendra Dev Verma, and Santosh Dubey. Virendra Baba and his associates, representing the saint community, also joined the event. Various speakers further strengthened the resolve for the protection of Sanatan Dharma and the liberation of the birthplace with their passionate speeches.

Finally, through the gathering, their demands were strongly presented to the administration and society, with the primary demand being the complete liberation of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi from all encroachments.
