Throughout his extensive 26-year teaching career, Mr. Tiwari has consistently worked with dedication for the upliftment of underprivileged and neglected sections of society. In 2001, Om Prakash Tiwari took the initiative to establish an education center in the underserved settlement of Vachevera, dedicating himself to providing free education to hundreds of children from impoverished and weaker sections.

Holistic Development Beyond Education

Through this unique initiative, he not only ignited the flame of education but also ensured basic facilities such as health, medical care, textbook distribution, and mid-day meals. As a result of his efforts, the local education department later recognized this center as a fully developed primary school, giving a new direction to the lives of hundreds of children.

After joining government service in 2008 through the Specific BTC program, Mr. Tiwari, as the headmaster of the Mohari school, achieved unprecedented success in ensuring 100% enrollment and attendance with the active cooperation of local guardians. He established the school as an ideal model through his innovative teaching methods and practices, inspiring other institutions.

Following this, after assuming the charge of headmaster at the Rahliya school in 2015, he elevated educational, literary, and cultural activities to new heights. Under his capable leadership, the school's students carved a distinct and indelible identity for themselves in district-level competitions.

After his transfer in July 2025, while taking charge at the Kanya Uchh Prathmik Vidyalaya Composite Bilkhi, Mr. Tiwari, through his relentless efforts in awareness campaigns and street plays, increased the enrollment of girl students in the school. A positive outcome of these efforts was the remarkable success achieved by the school's girl students in the Math Olympiad and national-level examinations, bringing pride to the school and the region.

In this context, Mr. Tiwari clarified that under the capable guidance of the current District Magistrate, Ghazal Bhardwaj, the establishment of an ISRO Lab at the Bilkhi school is a highly significant and far-reaching initiative to connect rural children with modern science. Furthermore, under the direction of District Basic Education Officer Rahul Mishra, special importance is being given to the 'Nipun Shiksha' program and digital learning to prepare students for future challenges.

Active Participation in Literature and Social Activities

In addition to his teaching work, Om Prakash Tiwari has been extremely active in literary creation and social activities. He successfully fulfilled his responsibilities as nodal coordinator in significant state events such as the Kajli Festival, Surya Festival, and Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day. He has also discharged his social responsibility by playing an active role in various national welfare programs and initiatives run by the Prime Minister and Chief Minister.

During his address at the felicitation ceremony, Mr. Tiwari emphasized the importance of education in life, stating that education is the only foundation without which human life is incomplete and directionless. He described education as the greatest medium of empowerment.
