Chaos erupted at the I-Tech Zone exam center in Prayagraj, where reportedly double the allotted candidates arrived for the second and third shifts.

With approximately 650 computers available, over 1,000 candidates were assigned to each shift. Protests escalated into vandalism.

Reports indicate damage to computer systems, furniture, and other equipment. Aspirants blocked GT Road before police intervened. Authorities posted a notice about rescheduling the exams.

SSC Rescheduling Notice

SSC issued a notice stating that the cancelled Constable (GD) Exam scheduled on May 25 would be rescheduled from May 27, 2026, onwards.

 

"Rescheduled in forthcoming exam days, i.e. 27-05-2026 onwards."

 

Fresh admit cards will be uploaded on the official SSC website. For many, the focus shifted from the exam to managing uncertainty.
