SP Leads Flag March in Utraula for Festival Security

In preparation for the upcoming Dhanteras and Diwali festivals, a security flag march was conducted in Utraula town, Balrampur district, under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Martand Prakash Singh. A large contingent of police personnel participated in the march, covering sensitive and crowded areas including Patelnagar, Subhashnagar, Rafinagar, the main market, and Sarrafa Market.

The primary objective of the flag march was to maintain law and order during the festivals and instill a sense of security among citizens. The Superintendent of Police directly engaged with local traders and residents, listening to their concerns and soliciting suggestions for further enhancing security measures. He urged everyone to celebrate the festivals with mutual brotherhood and harmony, and to immediately report any suspicious activities or disturbances to the police.

Robust Security Arrangements for Festivals

To significantly strengthen security arrangements in anticipation of the festivals, police personnel in plain clothes will be deployed in key locations. Drone cameras and CCTV will be utilized to maintain strict surveillance over crowded and sensitive areas. The cyber cell will closely monitor misleading rumors and provocative comments spreading on social media, and strict action will be taken against such elements.

The flag march was attended by Additional Superintendent of Police Vishal Pandey, the Station House Officer of Kotwali Utraula, and a large number of police personnel. The administration has clarified that the police are fully alert and prepared to maintain peace and order during the festivals. Any form of anarchy or violation of law will not be tolerated, and those found guilty will face stringent legal action.

This initiative was not only aimed at showcasing security presence but also at building confidence among local residents and traders. The direct interaction with the Superintendent of Police ensured that community concerns were heard and addressed. He assured that the police force is fully equipped to handle any untoward incidents, with all necessary resources available.

Flag marches of this nature become crucial given the expected crowds and economic activities during the festive season. They help in deterring crime, discouraging lawbreakers, and fostering a sense of security among the general public. This step taken in Utraula is a significant initiative towards organizing peaceful festivals in the region. These preparations by the police administration assure citizens that their safety is paramount.
