'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' Kicks Off in Narsinghpur

In commemoration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, Narsinghpur district has commenced the month-long 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' (Service Pledge Campaign). This initiative, running from September 17 to October 17, aligns with state government directives and aims to foster public participation and achieve development goals through constructive activities.

Under the guidance of Collector Rajni Singh, various district departments are actively involved. The Tribal Affairs Department will organize elocution and drawing competitions on the theme 'My Dream India' in all district hostels on September 19.

Promoting Environmental and Health Initiatives

To encourage environmental conservation, a large-scale tree plantation drive will be held at the Goat Breeding Farm in Umaria-Chinki, organized by the Animal Husbandry Department. The Rural Engineering Services Division in Gotegaon will also conduct a plantation program at the new Janpad complex.

The Health Department will set up special camps at district and all development block-level institutions to address grievances related to maternity assistance and the Janani Suraksha Yojana, ensuring benefits reach the needy and issues are resolved promptly.

Educational and Creative Engagements

The School Education Department will host drawing and elocution competitions for students in classes 6 to 12. Schools will also feature cleanliness drives, yoga and meditation sessions, career counseling, and Fit India sports activities.

Furthermore, the Government Polytechnic College has proposed a rangoli competition, while the Government PG College plans various events including elocution, essay writing, and drawing competitions to nurture student creativity. The administration has instructed all relevant departments to ensure the successful execution of these programs in their respective areas, marking this campaign as a significant effort to bring about positive change and engage citizens in development-oriented activities.
