Women's Awakening Program Held at Gayatri Shaktipeeth

A grand women's awakening program was organized at the Gayatri Shaktipeeth in Banpur Darwaza, Tikamgarh, to commemorate the birth centenary year of Pujya Mataji Bhagwati Devi Sharma. The event saw the participation of Bharatiya Janata Party District President Saroj Rajput as the chief guest.

The program commenced with the lighting of lamps, Kalash Pujan, and a collective chanting of the Gayatri Mahamantra, with a significant number of 'Matra Shakti' (women power) in attendance. Addressing the gathering, Saroj Rajput described Pujya Mataji Bhagwati Devi Sharma as an embodiment of sacrifice and organization.

Women as the Pivot of Society and Nation Builders

Rajput stated that women are the pivot of society today, contributing significantly to nation-building by instilling values not only in their families but also in future generations. Referencing the Vedas and Puranas, she asserted that women play a paramount role in guiding society towards the right path and promoting ethics.

The special pledge ceremony for 'Matra Shakti' at Gayatri Shaktipeeth began with the traditional rituals, including lamp lighting, Kalash Pujan, and collective chanting of the Gayatri Mahamantra. The presence of prominent women from Tikamgarh was particularly noteworthy at this event, held in honor of Pujya Mataji Bhagwati Devi Sharma's birth centenary year. The event aimed to underscore the importance of women's power and their role in society.

In her address, Saroj Rajput identified women as the cornerstone of nation-building. She emphasized that it is women who preserve family values and pass them on to future generations, laying the foundation for a strong and ethical society. She recalled that ancient Indian texts like the Vedas and Puranas accord women a divine status, and their inspiration propels society forward.

Sharing personal anecdotes, she inspired attendees to adopt the ideals of Mataji. During the program, all 'Matra Shakti' collectively took a pledge for women's awakening and the creation of a virtuous society.

The event concluded with a renewed commitment from all participants to work continuously for the upliftment of society. Numerous dignitaries, including former Municipal President Lakshmi Giri Goswami, Poonam Agarwal, Vibha Shrivastava, Pushpa Yadav, Meera Khare, Sandhya Soni, Sheelam Gupta, Seema Saini, Praveena Khare, Sadhana Chauhan, Suman Jaiswal, Ranjana Parmar, Rajni Rawat, Neelam Pathak, Dr. Suchi Nivedita Pathak, Neeta Khare, Pratibha Bundela, Alka Khare, Kiran Badal, Ashok Shrivastava, and Mahesh Badal, were present. This initiative is considered a significant step towards women's empowerment in the region, promising to aid in constructing an ideal society for future generations.
