Grand Ganesh Puja and Mahaprasad Ceremony Held

Narmadapuram: A grand Mahamarti and Mahaprasad ceremony of Lord Ganesha was organized on Monday evening at the official residence and MP Dialogue Center of Rajya Sabha Member Maya Narolia. The event featured a special puja of Virajeshwar Maha Ganpati, with 56 types of special offerings made following traditional rituals.

The religious ceremony concluded with prayers for the prosperity and social harmony of the region. Spiritual Guru Acharya Somesh Parsai guided the rituals with Vedic chants, elaborating on the glory of Lord Ganesha and advising devotees on how to receive divine grace.

Call for Collective Well-being and Social Harmony

In her address, Rajya Sabha Member Maya Narolia prayed to the Almighty for collective happiness, peace, and overall prosperity of the region. She also wished for lasting social harmony among citizens, envisioning the entire area united by love and unity.

“May Lord Ganesha remove all obstacles and bestow lasting prosperity upon every family, bringing happiness into the lives of all.”

She emphasized that this festival reminds us of the necessity of overcoming obstacles for individual and societal progress, and that Lord Ganesha, as the remover of obstacles, possesses the power to do so. She urged everyone to work together for the development and upliftment of their region.

Cultural and Social Significance of Ganesh Utsav

Ms. Narolia highlighted the broader cultural and social significance of Ganesh Utsav. She stated that the festival is not merely about religious rituals but serves as a vital platform for strengthening social unity, mutual love, and brotherhood, teaching us how to cooperate and bring positivity to society.

Distinguished Guests Grace the Occasion

The presence of local administration and dignitaries significantly enhanced the dignity of the ceremony. Notable attendees included Narmadapuram Collector Somesh Mishra, Superintendent of Police Sai Krishna Thota, and District Panchayat CEO Himanshu Jain, whose presence signified the administration's commitment to public welfare.

Also present were Probationary Deputy Collector Rakhi Badole, Telecom Advisory Committee member Vikas Narolia, and Tehsildar Sunil Sharma. Various public representatives and local dignitaries participated alongside devotees, reflecting the spirit of unity and public welfare.

The Mahaprasad was distributed to the assembled gathering at the end of the entire program, marking a peaceful and harmonious conclusion to the evening's festivities in the district. Devotees felt blessed upon receiving the Mahaprasad.
