Parliament Disrupted Over Allegations Against Home Minister

The monsoon session of Parliament was repeatedly disrupted by severe uproar, forcing the adjournment of both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha multiple times before being concluded ahead of schedule. Allegations made by opposition leader Rahul Gandhi against Union Home Minister Amit Shah directly challenged the ruling party, igniting sharp exchanges and sloganeering in the house.

Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju and other BJP MPs described the allegations as completely baseless and unfounded. They demanded that Rahul Gandhi immediately retract his statements and apologize to the Union Home Minister.

The ruling party argued that making such accusations against a senior minister holding a constitutional post without concrete proof was not only inappropriate but also against parliamentary dignity.
