Temple Gears Up for Ganesh Festival

Preparations have commenced for the installation of Lord Shri Ganesh's idol within the sacred premises of the renowned Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple in Gwalior, ahead of the upcoming Ganesh festival. A crucial meeting was held by Collector Smt. Ruchika Chauhan with relevant officials and temple management representatives to ensure devotee comfort and security.

Collector Reviews Arrangements and Issues Guidelines

During the meeting, the Collector conducted a thorough review of the arrangements and issued essential directives. She emphasized that all necessary provisions must be in place for the large number of devotees expected for the idol installation the day before Ganesh Chaturthi.

"Ensuring smooth access, effective security, and other essential facilities are of utmost importance. Officials have been instructed to prioritize devotee convenience and ensure no lapses occur at any level," stated Collector Smt. Ruchika Chauhan.

Focus on Devotee Facilities and Inter-Departmental Coordination

The Collector stressed the need for proactive arrangements, considering the anticipated number of devotees during the Ganesh installation and the entire festival. Specific attention is required for adequate seating, drinking water, sanitation, and first-aid facilities.

She also highlighted the necessity of strong coordination among various departments to prevent any inconvenience to the devotees. The Collector sought valuable suggestions from temple management representatives, underscoring the importance of collaborative efforts to maximize facilities for worshippers.

Prior to the meeting, Collector Smt. Chauhan personally visited the temple premises to assess the existing arrangements and offered prayers, indicating the seriousness of the preparations underway.
