A significant review meeting of the Central Shri Ganesh Puja Mahasamiti was convened in Tulsipur, Balrampur, to ensure the grand, peaceful, and secure celebration of the upcoming Ganesh Utsav. The meeting, presided over by Mahasamiti President Dilip Kumar Gupta, saw participation from officials and members of various puja committees across the town.

Held on the eve of the festival, the meeting conducted a final assessment of preparations and deliberated on solutions for potential issues. Key points such as the security of puja pandals, sanitation, electricity supply, and lighting arrangements were thoroughly discussed. The Mahasamiti emphasized that Ganesh Utsav is a major festival of faith and no inconvenience should befall devotees.

During the session, problems faced by puja committees after idol installation were also extensively discussed. These included uninterrupted power supply, encroachments around pandals, and traffic management. The Mahasamiti acknowledged these issues seriously and assured prompt action.

Focus on Immersion Arrangements; Decisive Talks with Sub-Divisional Magistrate

The Mahasamiti has decided to prioritize devotee convenience and safety standards. A primary focus of the event management has been to streamline the immersion program and ensure better facilities for devotees during this process.

To improve arrangements and expedite problem resolution, a delegation from the Mahasamiti will soon meet with the Sub-Divisional Magistrate. Members reiterated that any level of negligence in the arrangements will not be tolerated.

Particular emphasis was placed on deploying adequate security personnel at immersion ghats, ensuring proper lighting, and monitoring water levels. Steps will also be taken to reduce noise pollution and plastic waste during the immersion. Availability of drinking water and first-aid facilities for devotees will be ensured.

The Mahasamiti believes that effective implementation of these arrangements can only be achieved through collaboration with the administration. All these points will be presented in detail during the talks with the Sub-Divisional Magistrate to ensure a smooth and safe immersion process.

Several members were present at the meeting, including Vivek Modanwal, Balram Kashyap, Aman, Manish Kasodhan, Rahul Gupta, Himanshu Modanwal, Suraj Kumar, Chandrakant Kashyap, Aditya Kasodhan, Durgesh Modanwal, Shivam Kasodhan, Dilip Kasodhan, Satyam Gupta, Shubham Pandey, Vicky Modanwal, Saurabh Kasodhan, and Shradhanand Soni.

The committee has appealed to all town residents and puja committees to maintain brotherhood, discipline, and harmony. The Mahasamiti is confident that with collective responsibility and better coordination with the administration, this festival can be made historic and dignified. Cooperation from everyone is expected for the success of the celebrations, making this Ganesh Utsav a memorable one in Tulsipur.
