Objectionable Language on B.Pharma Admit Card Sparks Protest at RD University

Rani Durgawati University, Jabalpur is facing significant backlash after a B.Pharma CBCS eighth-semester student's admit card featured vulgar and inappropriate language in place of the roll number. The incident has escalated into a major issue.

In response to this unacceptable lapse, activists from the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) staged a strong protest on the university campus. The demonstrators expressed their anger over the university administration's negligence and the disrespect shown towards female students.

Symbol of Shamelessness: NSUI's Unique Protest

As a form of protest, the NSUI activists presented a plant to the Registrar, terming it a "symbol of shamelessness." Following an hour-long commotion, with no university representative coming forward to meet them, the activists entered the Registrar's office.

Inside the office, they placed the protest plant on the Registrar's desk and raised slogans against the university administration. This symbolic act highlighted their deep dissatisfaction with the handling of the situation.

NSUI Condemns University Administration's Negligence

NSUI student leaders Anurag Shukla and Shafi Khan strongly condemned the university administration's grave negligence and the incident that deeply hurt the dignity of female students. They emphasized that such an error from a prestigious university, which has achieved an 'A' grade from NAAC, is highly irresponsible.

They stated that this is a direct attack on the self-respect of female students. Serious language-related flaws in crucial documents like admit cards cast a shadow over the entire functioning of the university, causing injustice to students and tarnishing the university's image.

Demand for Immediate Action and Accountability

The organization has demanded that the university administration immediately revise and re-issue all erroneous admit cards. Furthermore, NSUI has advocated for strict action against the officials and staff responsible for this oversight to prevent future occurrences.

A large number of NSUI activists and students participated in the protest, including Anurag Shukla, Shafi Khan, Ankit Shukla, Saif Ali, Aniket Meshram, Ankit Kori, Waqar Khan, Adil Sayyed, Yug Thakur, Rajiv Srivastava, Narayan Chaudhary, and Amit Singh.
