Inauguration of Bilwa Police Post Bolsters Security in Bhojpur, Bareilly

The newly constructed Bilwa Police Post in the Bhojpur area of Bareilly was formally inaugurated on September 22, 2026. This initiative aims to reinforce law and order and provide citizens with swift security, ensuring immediate police assistance for surrounding rural areas and commuters during emergencies.

Superintendent of Police (North) Bareilly, Mukesh Chandra Mishra, along with Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Mohammad Akmal Khan, officially opened the post by cutting a ribbon and unveiling a plaque. The establishment of this new post is primarily intended to ensure effective police presence in accident-prone zones and to foster a stronger sense of security among local residents.

Security Enhancement Directives Issued

Following the inauguration ceremony, the Superintendent of Police (North) addressed attending police officers and personnel. He issued directives to increase regular patrolling in the area and maintain strict surveillance on any suspicious activity. He emphasized that the problems of local residents must be addressed with priority and promptness.

This initiative is expected to build public trust in the police administration and strengthen the assurance of safety. The police administration believes that the activation of the new post will help maintain peace and order in the region.

The event was attended by the Circle Officer (Highway), Station House Officer (Bhojpur), the Post In-charge, local public representatives, and a large number of distinguished citizens. Local residents expressed profound happiness over the establishment of the Bilwa Police Post.

Towards the end of the program, the Superintendent of Police (North) also commended police personnel for their commendable work at the Bhojpur police station.
