Preparations Underway for Idol Immersion in Narmadapuram

In anticipation of the upcoming idol immersion ceremonies in Narmadapuram, Municipal Chairperson Neetu Mahendra Yadav conducted an inspection of the Herbal Park Ghat on Wednesday. She reviewed the construction progress of the artificial pond being built at the site and issued necessary directives to the officials.

The Chairperson stressed that comprehensive arrangements should be made for the convenience of devotees at the ghat, ensuring no inconvenience to anyone participating in the immersion. During the inspection, she instructed officials to improve the road leading to the ghat and ensure adequate lighting around the artificial pond.

Enhanced Facilities for Devotees

Further directives included ensuring the availability of drinking water and setting up a large tent area for devotees to sit. The Chairperson emphasized that idol immersions must be conducted exclusively within the designated artificial ponds to respect the sanctity of faith.

Appeal for River Water Protection

Municipal Chairperson Neetu Mahendra Yadav and Chief Municipal Officer Vaibhav Deshmukh jointly appealed to the citizens to refrain from immersing idols directly into the main flow of the Maa Narmada river. To preserve the environment and the purity of the water, a special artificial pond is being prepared at the Herbal Park Ghat.

Citizens are urged to utilize this artificial pond for safe and responsible idol immersion. The municipality's team will be continuously deployed at the site to assist devotees and manage arrangements. During the inspection, municipal engineer Diksha Tiwari, former corporator Arpit Malviya, along with other municipal officials and staff, were also present.

Ensuring Safety and Environmental Compliance

The administration has appealed to all citizens to adhere to the rules during the immersion process to prevent any untoward incidents and ensure the protection of the river's water. This proactive approach aims to combine religious observance with environmental responsibility.
