Public Grievance Redressal Forum Proves Effective
The weekly Jan Sunwai, held every Thursday in Narmadapuram, is proving to be a significant platform for the swift resolution of citizens' problems. On Thursday, Municipality President Neetu Mahendra Yadav and Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) Vaibhav Deshmukh were present at the Jan Sunwai and issued directives for immediate action on citizens' applications.
During the session, citizens submitted applications addressing various issues including requests to add names to the Prime Minister Awas Yojana list, correct names in Samagra ID, water drainage, drinking water supply, reactivation of pensions, and surrender of ration cards.
Emphasis on Immediate Resolution and Citizen Satisfaction
Acknowledging the seriousness of the received applications, the officials emphasized their prompt resolution. In many cases, problems were resolved on the spot, leading to the satisfaction of the applicants.
Narmadapuram Municipality President Neetu Mahendra Yadav specifically stressed the importance of ensuring a satisfactory resolution for every applicant who attends the Jan Sunwai. She directed that no application should be kept pending unnecessarily and that citizens should be provided with immediate relief.
Directives Issued for Prompt Action by Officials
Office Superintendent Yogesh Soni stated that the Municipality President and CMO have issued clear instructions to all concerned officials to act on applications received during the Jan Sunwai on a priority basis. The effort is to ensure that citizens can easily avail the benefits of government schemes and services.
Particular attention is being given to applications for including names in the list under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana and for correcting errors in Samagra IDs. The Jan Sunwai was also attended by Executive Engineers Diksha Tiwari, Mukesh Jain, Ayushi Richhariya, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Nodal Officer Anurag Tiwari, and Corporators Durgesh Choudhary, Narendra Patel, Bindia Manjhi, Deepika Kuldeep Rathore, and Kanchan Setty Chowksey, along with other officials and public representatives. Their presence ensured that problems related to various departments could be addressed simultaneously.
