Cleanliness Drive at Panchal Ghat
As part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, a special cleanliness campaign was organized at Panchal Ghat in development block Barhpur, Farrukhabad, on Friday morning. The Honorable Member of Parliament (MP) personally participated in the cleanliness work, motivating local residents to keep public spaces clean.
Present at the event were BJP District President Fatehchand Verma, other party officials, workers, and the District Panchayat Raj Officer, who collectively expressed their commitment to cleanliness. The Block Development Officer of Barhpur, ADO Panchayat, and Gram Panchayat Secretaries also played active roles in the campaign.
Extensive cleaning was carried out in and around Panchal Ghat, aiming to maintain the beauty and hygiene of public areas and raise awareness among citizens. Such initiatives are vital for a cleaner environment and fostering positive societal change.
Sanitation Message Delivered at Panchal Ghat
This special campaign was initiated to clean Panchal Ghat, a significant public space in Farrukhabad. During the drive, the MP and other dignitaries wielded brooms themselves, sending a powerful message to attendees.
They urged the public to maintain the cleanliness of their surroundings and integrate hygiene into their daily routines. The enthusiastic participation of local youth in the cleaning efforts was noteworthy.

Water Source Sanitation and Cow Shelter Inspection
Special attention was paid to cleaning water sources around Panchal Ghat to ensure drinking water quality and reduce the risk of waterborne diseases. Following the successful cleanliness campaign, a thorough inspection of the cow shelter in Yakutganj was conducted at 1 PM.
The primary objective of this inspection was to assess the welfare and care arrangements for the cattle. The MP meticulously reviewed the quality and quantity of fodder, the availability of drinking water, and the overall cleanliness of the premises.
Observing the current physical condition of the animals, the MP issued immediate directives for necessary improvements to the concerned officials and staff. The importance of prioritizing the proper care of animals at the cow shelter was emphasized.
The MP stated that demonstrating sensitivity towards stray animals and ensuring their well-being is a moral duty of society. Officials were instructed to ensure no shortage of fodder and water and to conduct regular vaccinations and health check-ups for the animals.
Orders were also given to take necessary steps to maintain hygiene within the premises and prevent the spread of any infections. Local representatives, administrative officers, and animal husbandry department staff were present during the inspection and assured their compliance with the MP's directives.
