Grand Kalash Yatra Marks Prelude to Mahayagya

Modinagar, Ghaziabad | September 13, 2026 - A grand and divine Kalash Yatra was organized in Talheta, Modinagar, Ghaziabad, on Sunday, a day before the commencement of the 9-day Maa Pitambara Baglamukhi Mahayagya. Thousands of mothers and sisters from Talheta and surrounding areas participated with immense devotion, filling the entire region with a devotional atmosphere.

The Kalash Yatra, held as part of the preparations for the Mahayagya under the auspicious guidance of Mahamandaleshwar Yati Narsinghanand Giri Maharaj, concluded at the Siddhapeeth Shri Tikki Wale Baba Mandir. The procession began from the ancient Bada Mandir in Talheta, where village dignitaries were present as Yajacharya ShriMahant Yati Ranchinghanand Giri Maharaj, Yati Ramswarupanand Giri Maharaj, and Yati Dharmanand Giri Maharaj showered flowers and gave the green signal.

Devotional Chants Fill the Air

With religious fervor and resounding chants, the Kalash Yatra echoed through Talheta with cries of 'Jai Maa Baglamukhi', 'Har-Har Mahadev', and 'Jai Tikki Wale Baba Ki'. Women participated with great faith and reverence, carrying auspicious Kalash on their heads. Devotees along the route welcomed the procession with showers of flowers, creating a deep religious and spiritual ambiance throughout the area.

Details and Objectives of the Mahayagya

Mahant and Yajacharya ShriMahant Yati Ranchinghanand Giri Maharaj explained that the Maa Pitambara Baglamukhi Mahayagya will take place from September 14 to September 22, 2026. During this period, Havan and offerings will be performed daily from 9 AM to 11 AM and 7 PM to 9 PM, following religious rituals.

The Mahayagya will conclude with the Purnahuti on September 22 at 10 AM, followed by a grand community feast (Bhandara) starting at 11 AM. Yati Ranchinghanand Giri Maharaj clarified the profound objectives behind organizing this Mahayagya, stating that the ritual is intended to bestow wisdom, discernment, and courage upon all Sanatanis, protect Sanatani families, promote the progress and preservation of the Sanatan Dharma, and quell irreligion, injustice, and negative forces.

He urged all Sanatani communities to participate in this Mahayagya and receive the blessings of Maa Pitambara Baglamukhi, ensuring their involvement in this spiritual endeavor for the welfare of Dharma and society. In addition to mothers and sisters, a large number of devotees, saints, villagers, intellectuals, and dignitaries were present at the Kalash Yatra.
