Mission Shakti Awareness Campaign Conducted in Balrampur

Balrampur, September 23, 2026 – A comprehensive public awareness campaign under 'Mission Shakti' was organized by the police in Balrampur district on Wednesday. The primary objective of this initiative was to educate women and girls about their legal rights, safety measures, and protection from various crimes.

Special Teams Engage Communities

Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Martand Prakash Singh and supervised by Additional Superintendent of Police Vishal Pandey, special teams visited various villages, towns, and educational institutions across the district to raise awareness among women.

Addressing Social Evils and Promoting Empowerment

During the campaign, police teams listened attentively to women's concerns and explained the process for obtaining legal aid. They encouraged women to speak out against social evils such as dowry, child marriage, and domestic violence, labeling them as serious offenses.

Child Safety and Cybercrime Prevention Emphasized

Girls were educated on the difference between 'good touch' and 'bad touch' and advised to immediately inform their families or the police in any suspicious situation. The campaign also placed a strong emphasis on preventing cybercrimes.
