Bhind, September 12, 2026 - The administration in Bhind has taken proactive steps towards the expansion of National Highway 552. Following a proposal from the Public Works Department, Collector Kirodi Lal Meena has made public the process for acquiring additional land in villages Bhujpura and Virdhanpura.

This land is essential for the highway's expansion, ensuring the construction work can proceed without hindrance. The land acquisition process will be based on mutual consent. Specifically, 0.202 hectares of land belonging to landowner Nawav Singh in survey number 97, village Bhujpura, and 0.126 hectares of land belonging to landowner Brajesh Sharma in survey number 297, village Virdhanpura, are proposed for acquisition.
