New Yoga Center Opens in Indore, Combining Health and Cow Service
The city of Indore in Madhya Pradesh has witnessed the inauguration of a new yoga center, a joint initiative by Shri Ahilya Mata Gaushala Jeev Daya Mandal and Hariom Yoga Kendra Charitable Trust. The launch event saw a significant turnout of yoga practitioners, students, and dignitaries, who collectively pledged to prioritize both personal health and the welfare of cows.
The opening ceremony, held at the Avadhoot premises of Ahilya Mata Gaushala, commenced with an engaging yoga training session, followed by a formal inauguration with the lighting of a lamp. Pushpendra Dhanotia, director of the Gaushala, graced the occasion as the chief guest, while the event was skillfully managed by Shankar Laddha. Several key officials, including Trust's Managing Trustee Ashwini Verma, Dr. Usha Ukande, Dr. Nirmal Mahajan, Dr. Vajpayee, Dr. Hemant Sharma, Raunak Soni, Prem Dua, and Chandrashekhar Tiwari, were present.
'Healthcon 2026' to be a Landmark National Event
During the program, Dr. Hemant Sharma, Head of Media, unveiled the comprehensive plan for 'Healthcon 2026,' a national-level event scheduled for October 31st. He anticipates participation from approximately fifteen hundred delegates from across the country. Dr. Sharma believes this conference will be a significant milestone for Indore in the health and medical sector, bestowing a distinct national recognition upon the city.
Harionm Yoga Center Aims to Integrate Yoga into Daily Life
Dr. Pramod Nandwal, Media Chief of Hariom Yoga Kendra, elaborated on the center's core objectives. He emphasized that the primary goal is to make yoga accessible to the general public, highlighting it as an effective lifestyle for a healthy, balanced, and purposeful existence, rather than merely a physical exercise. This new center will offer regular yoga training to local residents, fostering personal well-being and cultivating a community-wide awareness of health.
The successful execution of the event was spearheaded by conveners Shyam Sharma and Manoj Verma. During the closing ceremony, attendees participated in a collective cow service activity, demonstrating their commitment to community service. The event concluded with light refreshments. The Trust expressed profound gratitude to all yoga instructors, officials, and citizens who contributed directly or indirectly to the event's success, noting that this initiative will not only promote yoga in Indore but also redefine service values.
