Tricolour Takes Over Maharaj Bada

The heart of Gwalior city, Maharaj Bada, was a sea of the national tricolour on Sunday evening. Ex-servicemen, public representatives, senior officials, youth, and citizens marched in a grand procession, holding the national flag – the symbol of the nation's pride and honour.

The air resonated with patriotic slogans like 'Vande Mataram' and 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'. This flag march is part of the state government's 'Har Ghar Tiranga' (Tricolour in Every Home) campaign, scheduled to run from August 9 to August 17.

Fostering Patriotism Among Youth

The primary aim of this campaign is to ignite a sense of patriotism among the youth and ensure widespread public participation in this national festival. The procession was jointly organized by the District Administration and the Municipal Corporation.

Prominent attendees included Municipal Corporation Chairman Manoj Tomar, BJP District President Jaiprakash Rajauriya, Collector Mrs. Ruchika Chauhan, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Sangh Priya, along with other officials and dignitaries.

Enthusiastic Participation and Slogans

The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' rally saw enthusiastic participation from the youth. Chants of 'Vande Mataram', 'Har Ghar Tiranga, Ghar Ghar Tiranga' (Tricolour in Every Home, Tricolour in Each House), and 'Swatantrata Amar Rahe' (Long Live Freedom) echoed through the streets.

Participants also paid deep respect to the nation's martyrs. This event is being seen as a significant step towards strengthening the spirit of patriotism in the city.

Campaign Concludes with National Anthem

The rally culminated in front of the Zoological Museum at Maharaj Bada with a collective rendition of the national song 'Vande Mataram' and triumphant cheers of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'.

Present at the conclusion were Additional Municipal Corporation Commissioner Pradeep Tomar, Munish Sikarwar, SDM Lashkar Narendra Babu Yadav, District Soldier Welfare Officer Narendra Singh Tomar, and Balveer Singh Tomar, along with several ex-servicemen.

Goal for the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Campaign
