Guna's Food Safety Department is conducting special checks on milk products using a mobile lab as part of an ongoing anti-adulteration campaign.

Mobile Lab Deployed for Dairy Product Checks in Guna
In an ongoing campaign against adulteration, the Food Safety Department in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district conducted special checks to ensure the quality of milk products. The operation was carried out under the direction of District Collector Kishore Kumar Kanyal and guidance of Designated Officer Dr. Rajkumar Rishishwar.
The Food Safety Administration team inspected several milk dairies and food establishments in the Miyana area. Using a mobile food testing laboratory, they examined milk, paneer, mawa, and ghee on-site. The primary aim of the campaign is to curb adulteration in various milk products and provide pure and safe food items to the public.
Samples Collected for Further Analysis
During the inspection, samples of milk, paneer, and ghee were collected from Jagdish Milk Dairy at Miyana Chowk. Similarly, samples of milk, mawa, and paneer were gathered from Mahesh Milk Dairy on Cant Road, Guna. Samples of paneer and chicken biryani were also sent for testing from Jagat S.S.S. Restaurant located on A.B. Road near Bus Stand, Guna.
Continuous Enforcement Against Adulteration
This action by the Food Safety Department is part of a broader campaign against adulteration, as directed by the Collector. The presence of the mobile food testing laboratory has streamlined the testing process, allowing for immediate quality assessment of products. These samples have been sent for further detailed examination in the laboratory to ensure they meet prescribed standards.
Officials stated that this special campaign against adulteration will continue. The mobile food testing laboratory is prioritizing the testing and sampling of various food items, especially milk and milk-based products. Such regular inspections instill vigilance among food businesses, deterring them from adulteration and ultimately ensuring consumers receive quality products.
