Mahoba city was enveloped in an atmosphere of devotion and jubilation on Wednesday, September 17, 2026, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Lord Vishwakarma Puja. Organized under the aegis of the Vishwakarma Army, a grand procession traversed the city, drawing enthusiastic participation from thousands of individuals across various communities, symbolizing a profound sense of faith and devotion.

The religious procession commenced with sacred rituals and Aarti performed at the Maa Chandrika Devi Temple complex. It then proceeded through the city's principal routes, deeply touching the hearts of the local populace. Significant stops included Bhatipura, Nagar Palika, Tehsil Chauraha, Aala Chowk, Bus Stand, Dak Bungalow, and Lodi Triha, where the procession received a grand reception.

Vibrant Procession Captivates Spectators

The spectacle was further enhanced by vibrant DJ music, traditional bands, decorated horses, and captivating tableaux. These elements drew considerable attention from the city's residents, adding to the festive spirit. Citizens lined the procession route, showering flowers and welcoming the devotees, creating a joyous confluence of faith.

The artistic tableaux vividly depicted various forms and contributions of Lord Vishwakarma, serving as a major highlight for the devotees. The procession culminated back at the Chandrika Devi Temple complex, where a Maha Aarti was performed, followed by the distribution of prasad (blessed food) among the attendees.

Security and Community Engagement

To ensure law and order, the Mahoba Police had made elaborate security arrangements throughout the event. The presence of police personnel guaranteed the smooth and uninterrupted conclusion of the program. Key figures like Vishwakarma Army General Secretary Krishna Vishwakarma, Keshav Vishwakarma, Lalit Vishwakarma, and Ashish Vishwakarma played instrumental roles in the organization.

The organizing committee also acknowledged and honored distinguished guests who attended the procession, a commendable initiative. A large number of social workers and local citizens, including Prem Vishwakarma, Shivam Vishwakarma, Bhagirath Nagayach, Chakrapani Tripathi, Vasudev Vishwakarma, Purushottam Vishwakarma, Umeshankar Vishwakarma, Rahul Vishwakarma, and Jagmohan Vishwakarma, participated in this grand event, fostering a unique atmosphere of reverence and devotion throughout the city.
