Sudden Demise Leaves Police Department in Mourning

Gaurishankar Shukla, a 52-year-old constable serving in the traffic police of Farrukhabad district, passed away on Tuesday after his health suddenly deteriorated. This unfortunate event has sent a wave of grief through the police department, with colleagues, acquaintances, and local residents expressing deep sorrow over his demise.

Originally a resident of the Pahadi police station area in Chitrakoot district, Gaurishankar Shukla was currently residing in Tirwa Kothi. He had been assigned duty to manage traffic at the Farrukhabad railway station on Tuesday.

Health Worsens Suddenly, Dies in Hospital

Gaurishankar Shukla’s health took a severe turn for the worse in the afternoon. Upon receiving information, police personnel immediately rushed him to Lohia Hospital via ambulance. Doctors examined him and declared him deceased shortly after.

The local police station, Kadri Gate, was also informed of the incident. Traffic In-charge Omprakash Pandey stated that Gaurishankar Shukla had been unwell, which is why he could not report for duty on Tuesday. After his condition worsened, he was taken to Lohia Hospital where he was pronounced dead by the medical team.

His family has been notified of the incident, and his body has been placed in the mortuary. Further necessary procedures will be carried out upon the arrival of his family members.

Personal Tragedies and Beloved Colleague

According to information, Gaurishankar Shukla had already lost a son previously. He and his wife had been struggling to cope with the grief of his son's death for a long time. He has two daughters; one is married, while the other is studying in Kanpur.

His wife was also living with their daughter in Kanpur at the time of his passing. During his duty at various traffic intersections in Farrukhabad-Fatehgarh, Gaurishankar Shukla was known for his simple and affable demeanor. Colleagues and local citizens often praised his conduct.

His sudden death has left everyone in shock, marking an irreplaceable loss for his loved ones and the police department.
