Revenue Collection Goals Set at 100%

Farrukhabad | July 30, 2026 | In a significant meeting held at the Collectorate Auditorium, Fatehgarh, Farrukhabad District Magistrate Dr. Ankur Lathar instructed officials to achieve 100% of their targets for tax and non-tax revenue collection. He stated that revenue collection is a top priority for the government and any laxity will not be tolerated.

During the meeting, the progress of revenue collection by various departments was reviewed department-wise. The District Magistrate emphasized that all concerned officers must regularly conduct enforcement actions and ensure effective recovery from defaulters. He also directed the preparation of a list of major defaulters for strict action as per rules and daily monitoring of recovery progress.

Review and Improvement Directives for Departments

The review meeting discussed in detail the progress of departments such as Commercial Tax, Stamp & Registration, Excise, Transport, Electricity, Mining, Mandi Samiti, and other revenue-generating bodies. Departments whose collections were found to be below expectations were instructed to conduct special campaigns to meet their set targets.

The District Magistrate stated that all departments must ensure the fulfillment of government-set revenue targets within the stipulated timelines, establishing mutual coordination. He directed the relevant departments to intensify enforcement actions and conduct more operations to control illegal mining complaints in the district.

Additionally, each department was asked to expedite the resolution of their pending cases and submit progress reports through regular monitoring of recovery work. He also stressed the prompt and quality disposal of IGRS (Integrated Grievance Redressal System) cases, urging officers to ensure satisfactory feedback is obtained from complainants after case resolution.

Present at the meeting were Additional District Magistrate Finance & Revenue Arun Kumar Singh, Additional District Magistrate Judicial Dinesh Kumar, City Magistrate Parul Tarar, all Sub-Divisional Magistrates, and officials and staff from relevant departments.
