DGP Makwana Meets RAF Commandant Srivastava to Discuss Security Coordination

Inter-Force Meeting for Enhanced Security

Bhopal | August 4, 2026 - A courtesy meeting was held at the Police Headquarters (PHQ) in Bhopal where Madhya Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Kailash Makwana received Commandant Deepak Kumar Srivastava of the 107 Rapid Action Force (RAF), Hinotiya.

During the meeting, both senior officials engaged in a detailed and fruitful discussion concerning the state's law and order, internal security situation, and various other critical security matters. The primary objective of the meeting was to further strengthen and enhance the peace and security arrangements within the state.

Strengthening Coordination and Collaboration

Particular emphasis was placed on fostering better coordination, mutual cooperation, and reinforcing joint operational strategies between the RAF and the Madhya Pradesh Police. Both officers thoroughly deliberated on the necessity of establishing synergy between the two forces during the management of sensitive situations, disaster response, crowd control, and the execution of special operations.

Coordinated Efforts for Modern Challenges

The importance of coordination among security agencies was highlighted, with a consensus that a unified approach is indispensable for confronting today's modern challenges. To achieve this, an agreement was reached to encourage collaboration in training, effective information exchange, and the organization of joint exercises. DGP Kailash Makwana lauded the longstanding cooperation between the Madhya Pradesh Police and the RAF, stating that effective coordination between the two forces plays a significant role in maintaining law and order in the state.

RAF Commandant Deepak Kumar Srivastava expressed his commitment to further deepening cooperation and coordination at all levels in the future.
