Crowds Flock to Jaurha Ashram for Darshan of Raju Bhai on Guru Purnima

Guru Purnima Celebrated with Grandeur and Gandhian Values at Jaurha Ashram

Jaurha | July 29, 2026 | The festival of Guru Purnima was observed with simplicity and adherence to Gandhian values at the Mahatma Gandhi Seva Ashram in Jaurha. The occasion saw a continuous stream of visitors throughout the day seeking the blessings and guidance of the renowned Gandhian thinker and social activist Rajagopal P.V. Raju, widely known as 'Raju Bhai', who has been a staunch advocate for tribal rights.

Social workers, public representatives, academicians, youth, and representatives from various social organizations from different states visited the ashram to meet Raju Bhai and receive his blessings. The entire ashram was a vibrant hub of service, harmony, dialogue, and public awareness throughout the day.

Tribute to Dr. S.N. Subbarao 'Bhai Ji'

On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, Raju Bhai paid a heartfelt tribute to the late great Gandhian social worker, Dr. S.N. Subbarao 'Bhai Ji', by offering a floral tribute at his samadhi. He fondly remembered Bhai Ji's life philosophy rooted in peace, service, national unity, and human values.

Raju Bhai urged the assembled youth and activists to draw inspiration from Bhai Ji's ideals, sacrifice, penance, and tradition of public service, and to work with utmost dedication for the upliftment of the last person in society.

All-Faith Prayer Service at Bhai Ji's Samadhi

An all-faith prayer meeting was organized at Bhai Ji's samadhi, accompanied by his favorite bhajans. The primary objective of this prayer service was to disseminate the message of love, harmony, universal brotherhood, and human unity.

Devotees collectively pledged to follow the path laid out by Bhai Ji. In the morning, Raju Bhai participated in prayers with the students of the 'Bhai Ji Bal Mandir English Medium School'. He guided the children through inspiring and engaging activities focused on fraternity, cooperation, equality, and moral values.

Representatives from Various States Meet Raju Bhai

During the program, representatives from social organizations hailing from different states across the country, including Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh, met with Raju Bhai. These representatives sought Raju Bhai's guidance and support regarding the service to the poor, helpless, and deprived sections, and the resolution of public issues.

Raju Bhai engaged in detailed discussions with the delegations and emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts and the formulation of effective action plans on public welfare issues.
