BSNL Network Expansion Directed for Narmadapuram Villages and Pachmarhi

An important meeting of the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Telecom Advisory Committee was held in Narmadapuram on Wednesday, chaired by Rajya Sabha MP Maya Narolia. The primary objective of this meeting was to strengthen the district's telecom infrastructure and provide better communication services to citizens.

During the meeting, committee member Vikas Narolia prominently highlighted the issues with the existing telecom network in the district, particularly the lack of connectivity in rural and remote areas. He emphasized that BSNL services in these regions are still not at a satisfactory level.

Focus on Rural and Tourist Area Network Expansion

To address this problem, he instructed the BSNL management to expeditiously prepare a concrete proposal for network expansion in the district's rural areas and the major tourist destination, Pachmarhi. MP Narolia stated that new mobile towers should be installed on a priority basis in areas experiencing persistent signal issues.

He identified ensuring better connectivity as a key priority for the administration, so that ordinary citizens can receive robust and uninterrupted BSNL services. These directives will ensure that even people living in distant areas can benefit from modern communication.

Officials Indicate Improvements

Senior officials present at this high-level meeting included BSNL General Manager Rajkumar Chanena, Deputy General Manager Sukesh Jadhav, and Deputy General Manager KK Mishra. Assistant General Manager Vipul Shrivastava and SDO Nitin Malviya also participated.

Officials present at the meeting assured that the suggestions made by the committee would be seriously implemented and an effective action plan would be developed for network expansion. They have indicated bringing improvements on the ground soon, which will lead to a better consumer experience. This meeting could prove to be a significant step towards modernizing communication services in the district.
