Only leaves under exceptional or special circumstances will be granted. District Superintendents of Police and relevant officials have been instructed to remain on 24-hour alert. They are tasked with closely monitoring sensitive areas and responding promptly to any untoward incidents.
Enhanced Vigilance and Patrols
Flag marches are to be conducted in major cities, district headquarters, and sensitive regions to assess the law and order situation. Police and administrative officials are collaborating to prevent any outbreak of violence, vandalism, or disorder.
A special surveillance system has been put in place to combat rumours and misinformation circulating via social media. Cyber Cell and local police teams are continuously monitoring messages and posts on digital platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter).
