Bhind Honors Guru-Disciple Tradition: 11 Teachers, 10 Students Felicitated
Bhind celebrated the Guru-Disciple tradition, recognizing 11 teachers and 10 students for their contributions and academic excellence.

'Guru Vandan–Chhatra Abhinandan' Program Held in Bhind
The Bharat Vikas Parishad, Bhind branch, successfully organized the 'Guru Vandan–Chhatra Abhinandan' program at DPS School in Bhind city on September 17, 2026. The event aimed to connect students with the core principles of Indian culture, the importance of the guru-disciple tradition, and their duties towards the nation.
The ceremony commenced with the garlanding and ceremonial worship of a portrait of Goddess Saraswati. R.N. Tiwari, a retired teacher, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, with Jugalkishore Dubey presiding over the event.
The Esteemed Role of the Guru
Branch Secretary Rajmani Sharma emphasized the supreme position of the guru in Indian culture during his address. He highlighted that gurus not only impart academic knowledge but also guide students, shaping their personalities and directing their lives.
Mr. Sharma stressed that true citizens, valuable to the nation and society, are molded when education is complemented by values, discipline, patriotism, and a spirit of service. He urged students to always maintain respect for their parents and teachers.
Inspiration and Message of National Service
Chief Guest R.N. Tiwari referenced the observance of Vishwakarma Jayanti and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. Shedding light on the Prime Minister's life and work, he inspired students to pursue paths of hard work, discipline, dedication to duty, and national service.
Mr. Tiwari asserted that a strong foundation of values in students' lives forms the bedrock of their bright futures.
Recognizing Meritorious Talents
During the program, 10 meritorious students of the school were honored with medals and certificates for their academic achievements. Additionally, 11 teachers were presented with certificates of appreciation for their significant contributions to education and the holistic development of students.
The distinguished ceremony was attended by the school's faculty, a large number of students, and members of the Bharat Vikas Parishad. The program was expertly conducted by Subhash Sharma.
