Villagers' Concerns Addressed During 'Jan Vishwas Abhiyan'

In an significant initiative under the 'Jan Vishwas Abhiyan' on Friday, Bhind District Collector Kiroli Lal Meena conducted an intensive tour of the remote villages of Ghamuri and Chhenkuri in the Gohad development block. During this visit, the Collector organized a village 'chaupal' to directly hear the fundamental problems of the local residents and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials for their prompt resolution.

In Ghamuri village, residents registered complaints regarding the supply of saline water, the issue of unpaved roads, and loose electricity cables. Collector Meena took immediate cognization of these issues and directed the relevant departments to take effective steps. Simultaneously, he ensured the on-the-spot resolution of crucial administrative tasks such as registration for the Kisan Samman Nidhi and mutation of inherited property (fauti namantran).

Under the Swamitva Yojana, he encouraged leaseholders to avail the benefit of free registration, which will assist them in obtaining legal rights over their property.

On-the-Spot Inspection of Educational Institutions and Directives for Improvement

With the objective of assessing the quality of education in rural areas, Collector Kiroli Lal Meena conducted surprise inspections of the Integrated Government High School Ghamuri and Government Middle School Chhenkuri. He entered classrooms to have students read lessons and solve mathematics problems, thereby evaluating their academic level.

Directives were also issued for the construction of a boundary wall at the Chhenkuri school for safety purposes, which will ensure a secure environment for the students. The collector also inspected Anganwadi centres, emphasizing nutrition.

Anganwadi Centre Operations Examined, Focus on Nutrition

During the inspection, the Collector also closely reviewed the functioning of the Anganwadi centres. He checked the smooth operation of the Nutrition Tracker app and the status of child registration. Additionally, he verified the availability of weighing scales and the arrangements for ration distribution to ensure that children are receiving adequate nutrition.

Villagers also presented demands for the expansion of basic facilities such as the Gram Panchayat building, High School building, and water tanks. Acting on these demands, the Collector has instructed the concerned officials to prepare proposals.

Other administrative officials, including the District Panchayat CEO, were also present during this tour. The expansion of these basic facilities is expected to bring significant relief to the local villagers, and this proactive approach by the administration is anticipated to accelerate public service initiatives.
