Bareilly Police Implement Monthly Evaluation, Awarding Excellence and Issuing Warnings

The Bareilly district police have implemented a monthly evaluation system for August 2026, aimed at strengthening law and order and enhancing policing efficiency. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anurag Arya spearheaded this review process, assessing the performance of police post in-charges based on critical factors like preventive actions, effective resolution of public grievances, and legal disposal of pending investigations.

Ten Police Post In-Charges Honored for Outstanding Performance

Following the comprehensive evaluation, ten police post in-charges were recognized for their exceptional work, receiving certificates of appreciation and cash rewards. The top performer was Sub-Inspector Kushal Pal Singh of the Jogeenniwada post, who secured 427 marks and was awarded a cash prize of Rs 5,000. Satellite post's Mayank Bhardwaj came second with 304 marks, while Jagatpur post's Munendra Kumar secured third place with 301 marks.

Additionally, police post in-charges Adesh Kumar (Fatehganj West), Javed Akhtar (Kakartola), Zakir Ali (Garhi Kila), Sourabh Dehra (Model Town), Jitendra Kumar (Madhinath), Virendra Kumar (New City Jail), and Nitin Rana (Rohilkhand) were also awarded certificates of appreciation and cash prizes for their commendable efforts.

Senior Superintendent of Police Anurag Arya congratulated the awarded personnel, stating that such encouragement not only boosts morale but also inspires other police officers to dedicate themselves to their duties and perform better. He urged all police personnel to discharge their responsibilities with utmost integrity and diligence.

Action Taken Against Ten Underperforming Police Post In-Charges

Conversely, ten police post in-charges who received the lowest marks in the monthly evaluation have faced action. These include in-charges of the Dhaura post (PS Nawabganj), Ramnagar post (PS Aonla), Subhashnagar post (PS Subhashnagar), Bewad Basantpur post (PS Bhuta), Ahlalpur post (PS Izatnagar), Kohdapir and Awas Vikas posts (PS Premnagar), Chowki Chauraha (PS Kotwali), Manauna Dham post (PS Aonla), and Kuatanda post (PS Bhuta).

All these police in-charges have been issued a strict warning by the Senior Superintendent of Police. The overarching objective of this evaluation system is to ensure the quality of policing services and enhance public service delivery.
