On Saturday, September 12, 2026, the Sanyukt Mali Saini Marar Samaj organized a dignified event in Bhopal to mark the 27th death anniversary of the revered figure, Ramji Mahajan. The 'State-Level Backward Class Honor Day Celebration' took place at Mahatma Phule Bhawan, Arera Colony.
During the ceremony, 77 distinguished social workers from the community were honored. These individuals represented various fields and professions, showcasing their exceptional contributions and dedication to society. Prominent attendees included Madhya Pradesh Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang, Bhopal Municipal Corporation Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, MLA South West Bhopal Shri Bhagwan Das Sabnani, former minister Shri P C Sharma, and District Congress Committee Bhopal (Rural) President Shri Anokhi Patel, among other respected community leaders.

The honored individuals spanned diverse professions, including doctors, engineers, lawyers, teachers, and scientists. They were recognized for their outstanding work and unwavering commitment to societal betterment. Notable recipients included Shri Ramnarayan Chauhan, Shri Jagdish Saini, Sarpanch Shri Hari Singh Saini, Shri Rajendra Saini, Shri Rajesh Chauhan, Councilor Smt. Geeta Prasad Mali, Dr. Premlata Saini, Smt. Shanti Mali, Dr. Chhaya Saini, Shri Bhupendra Mali, Shri Bablu Saini, Shri Dinesh Saini, Shri Ajay Saini, Shri Jagdish Solanki, Shri Ramcharan Mane, and Smt. Madhu Ambadkar.
Literary Special Issue Released, Future Plans Discussed
During the event, guests also unveiled a special issue of the monthly magazine 'Mahatma Phule Darshan,' which focuses on the history and contributions of the community. The ceremony was presided over by Shri G P Mali, Chairman and former Additional Collector. He urged community members to follow the ideals of Ramji Mahajan and strengthen social unity.
The Samaj also resolved to organize a second state-level women's conference soon. The program was successfully conducted by Shri Rajendra Ambadkar and Shri Ghanshyam Rahul.
