Twisha’s father, Navnidhi Sharma, and the state government have separately approached the Madhya Pradesh High Court. They are seeking the cancellation of the anticipatory bail granted to Giribala Singh by a Bhopal court.

Arrest of the Accused
Samarth Singh, Twisha’s husband and the prime accused, was arrested on Friday evening. He surrendered at the Jabalpur district court premises.
