Narsinghgarh | July 20, 2026 - Rajgarh Superintendent of Police (SP) Amit Tolani conducted an unscheduled inspection of the Narsinghgarh police station on Friday. The inspection aimed to improve policing and enhance operational efficiency.

During the visit, SP Tolani meticulously reviewed the station's records, cleanliness, and maintenance. He subsequently issued instructions to have Station House Officer Virendra Dhakad line attached. SP Tolani informed the media that the inspection was part of a pre-scheduled program by the Inspector General and that minor shortcomings were identified, leading to the station head's reassignment.

He also hinted that Dhakad might be assigned new responsibilities soon. SP Tolani emphasized that further improvements are still needed in policing.

Emphasis on Drug De-addiction, Strict Action Against Narcotics

SP Amit Tolani placed particular emphasis on the 'Drug De-addiction 2.0' campaign, stating that strict action against narcotics will continue. He referenced a recent major operation by Shujalpur police that implicated Shahrukh, a resident of Narsinghgarh.

The SP confirmed full coordination and support with Shujalpur police. Providing information about the supply of smack in the Narsinghgarh region being linked to Rajasthan's Jhalawar and Baran districts, he stated that continuous coordination is being established with the SPs of those districts. Actions are also being taken in collaboration with the Shajapur SP.

SP Tolani also mentioned an operation in the Boda police station area where Surjeet, his wife, and others were arrested, and narcotics were recovered. Interrogations are ongoing to trace further links in the case. He reiterated that to achieve the goals of 'Drug De-addiction 2.0', stringent action will be ensured against those involved in the drug trade, including traffickers, buyers, and users.

The SP stressed that maintaining distance from drugs is extremely essential for health and society.
