Political heat is rising in Madhya Pradesh's Datia assembly constituency ahead of the upcoming by-election. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has nominated Ashutosh Tiwari as its candidate. Leading the charge in support of Tiwari is Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, who holds portfolios for Culture, Tourism, Religious Trusts, and Endowments.
Minister Lodhi Leads Extensive Campaign in Rural Areas
Minister Lodhi, taking charge of the Basai Mandal, is actively engaged in public outreach across the region, working to create a favorable atmosphere for the BJP. As part of his packed schedule, he is visiting more than seven villages in a single day, including Lakhanpur, Janakpur, Thakurpur, Satlon, Himmatpur, Jaitpur, and Bardhuan.
During these public gatherings and meetings, he is disseminating information about various public welfare schemes of the central and state governments. He has urged villagers to cast their votes in favor of BJP candidate Ashutosh Tiwari, ensuring his victory with a significant margin.

He highlighted that the benefits of government schemes are now reaching every village and that efforts to accelerate the region's development will continue in the future.

Highlighting Development Projects Undertaken
Minister Dharmendra Lodhi has also been discussing the development works carried out during his tenure. His contributions in critical sectors such as education, health, irrigation, road construction, and religious tourism in the Jaber assembly constituency are being highlighted.
- These initiatives include free Navodaya coaching facilities, public grievance redressal sessions with administrative officers every Saturday, construction of the Puchhi pond costing over ₹150 crore, development of various water structures, construction of a sports stadium, road construction projects, the 'Har Ghar Nal Se Jal' (water to every household) scheme, beautification works, construction of primary health centers, establishment of over 30 sub-health centers, and the construction and foundation stone laying for over 40 community buildings.
Promoting Culture and Tourism
Additionally, a significant project like the Jagdishwar Dham Corridor construction at Bandakpur, costing approximately ₹100 crore, funded by the Department of Culture and Tourism, is also being attributed to Minister Lodhi's active involvement. This project is expected to boost religious tourism and stimulate the local economy in the region.
