A heartbreaking road accident in the Fatehganj Paschimi police station area of Bareilly has resulted in the death of 25-year-old Anil Sagar. The incident occurred late Wednesday evening in Agras village as Anil was returning home after working in his fields. This accident has sent a wave of shock not only through the family but also the entire community.

Hit by Speeding, Uncontrolled Vehicle

While crossing the road near the sugarcane center at Agrad Chowk, an uncontrolled and speeding unknown vehicle struck him. According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle was traveling at an excessive speed, and the driver had likely lost control. The collision was so severe that the vehicle's wheel ran over both of Anil's legs, causing him grievous injuries.

Treatment Proves Futile, Youth Succumbs to Injuries

Upon receiving information, local police rushed to the scene and immediately admitted him to a private hospital in Bareilly with the help of an ambulance. Doctors initiated all possible efforts given his critical condition. Despite the tireless efforts of the doctors at the hospital, Anil Sagar passed away on Thursday evening due to his severe injuries and excessive blood loss.

His untimely death has plunged his family into deep sorrow. Anil's brother, Sunil Kumar, stated that Anil was unmarried and was the fifth of six brothers. He assisted the family with farming and was known for his quiet demeanor. His death is also feared to impact the family's economic situation.

A somber mood has enveloped the entire village since the incident, with residents expressing profound grief over the tragic event. The police have confirmed the incident, stating that the Fatehganj Paschimi police have taken possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death and complete legal procedures.

Currently, the police are actively searching for the unknown vehicle and its driver who fled the scene after the accident.
