District Youth Congress Meeting Held in Sagar; Phased Agitation Declared

The Cliff News | Sagar | September 1, 2026 - The District Youth Congress has announced a phased agitation against various public issues and alleged irregularities in the Sagar district. The party leadership's directives and maintaining discipline within the organization were emphasized during the monthly meeting.

Key attendees included District Rural Congress Organization General Secretary Ashish Jyotishi, Vice President Abhishek Gaur, former District Youth Congress President Ashraf Khan, and State Secretary Akshay Dubey. Presided over by District Youth Congress President Sandeep Chaudhary, the meeting reviewed organizational activities at the assembly constituency level.

Emphasis on Discipline and Organizational Expansion

Office bearers were urged to strictly adhere to the directives issued by the party's top leadership. A unanimous decision was made to take strict action against indiscipline within the organization. Important guidelines were also issued regarding the expansion of district and assembly block committees.

Phased Agitation Framework for Public Grievances

A detailed discussion took place on the seven-point agenda for the phased agitation concerning public issues, with suggestions invited from party workers. Following deliberations, it was decided to launch a planned, phased agitation at the district and assembly levels addressing issues such as alleged discrepancies in voter lists, irregularities in funds for the Shri Ram Temple construction, pervasive corruption in local bodies and government departments, deteriorating law and order, rising crime rates, escalating inflation, and serious problems like illegal liquor, gambling, and betting. The concerns of youth, farmers, and common citizens will also be highlighted.

This agitation will commence in the Naryawali assembly constituency, followed by subsequent protest programs in other assembly constituencies and at the block level across the district. This decision is considered a significant step towards activating the party's organizational structure and effectively raising public issues.

Organizational Strengthening and Future Plans

During the meeting, Ashish Jyotishi (District Rural Congress Organization General Secretary), Abhishek Gaur (District Congress Vice President), Ashraf Khan (Former District Youth Congress President), Akshay Dubey (Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress State Secretary), Sandeep Chaudhary (District Youth Congress President), and Rohit Verma (Assembly President) offered important suggestions for strengthening and activating the organization. Many other Youth Congress members were also present.

The meeting was conducted by District Congress Office In-charge Manoj Pawar, with Engr. Satyam Singh Chaudhary delivering the vote of thanks.
