National Unity Celebrated as a Grand Festival

In Farrukhabad, the World Hindu Federation and the National Journalists' Union of India jointly celebrated Independence Day as a grand festival, filled with enthusiasm and patriotism. The event, held at the residence of Rajiv Agarwal near Patel Park Police Chowki, saw a large participation of patriotic citizens from various castes and religions, symbolizing national unity and brotherhood.

The program commenced with the hoisting of the national flag and the rendition of the national anthem. Bobby Dubey, grandson of freedom fighter Pandit Ramanarayan Azad, performed the flag hoisting ceremony. The entire venue was awash in the colors of the tricolor during the national anthem, with attendees raising slogans of 'Bharat Mata' and 'Vande Mataram', setting aside differences of caste and religion.

Tributes to Revolutionaries' Sacrifice

Speakers at the event highlighted the glorious history of the nation's independence. They stated that our ancestors and brave revolutionaries sacrificed everything to free India from British rule. It is due to their sacrifice, struggle, and martyrdom that we breathe in a free India today. Speakers emphasized that remembering the sacrifices of freedom fighters and following their ideals is the duty of every citizen.

Pledge for National Interest

Arvind Shukla, District President of the World Hindu Federation and National Journalists' Union of India, described Independence Day as a festival conveying the message of the country's unity, integrity, and brotherhood. He urged everyone to take inspiration from the sacrifices of the great revolutionaries and pledge to work in the national interest.

On this occasion, Bobby Dubey, Ritesh Shukla, Rajiv Agarwal, Umashankar Gupta, and journalist Anurag Dubey, along with other speakers, shared their thoughts. The District President of the Freedom Fighter Dependents Organization, Ritesh Shukla, key figure Bobby Dubey, Rakesh Sarswat, District General Secretary Arvind Shukla, and Chandra Prakash Dixit were also present. A large number of journalists and office bearers and workers of the organization contributed to the success of the event. The organizational patron, Rajiv Agarwal, provided significant support for the program's success.
