Wife Clings to Car Bonnet in Meerut Confrontation

In a startling incident in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, a woman allegedly clung to the bonnet of a moving car after confronting her husband, who was reportedly with another woman. The dramatic event, captured on video, has since circulated widely online.

According to police reports, the woman, identified as Sunita Singh, encountered her husband, Mayank Singh, inside the vehicle with Mahi Verma. Sunita Singh reportedly identified Verma as her husband's lover, leading to a heated confrontation.

Couple and Alleged Lover Arrested

Following the argument, authorities state that Mayank Singh attempted to drive away while Sunita Singh was positioned in front of the car. A video recording clearly shows Sunita Singh holding onto the bonnet as the vehicle traversed the area.

The Lohianagar police have taken swift action, arresting both Mayank Singh and Mahi Verma in connection with the incident. The vehicle involved in the confrontation has also been recovered and seized by law enforcement officials.

Investigation Underway

Area officer Kotwali Sangram Singh confirmed that the woman had prior knowledge of her husband being with another woman before the confrontation occurred. “The woman saw her husband with his alleged lover. After which an argument broke out after which the Husband tried to kill her,” Singh stated, underscoring the seriousness of the allegations.

Police are currently scrutinizing the video footage and other evidence to piece together the precise sequence of events and the circumstances that led to Sunita Singh ending up on the moving car's bonnet. The investigation aims to establish the full context of the confrontation and the husband's alleged actions.
