Board Acknowledges Syllabus Error

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has confirmed that three questions in the Class 12 Semester-IV Mathematics examination were outside the prescribed syllabus.

The affected questions are 2B, 11B, and 11C, carrying 2, 4, and 4 marks respectively.

Full Marks Awarded

Council president Chiranjib Bhattacharya stated that students who attempted these questions will be awarded full marks.

 

"The Council has consulted the respective subject experts regarding the matter and hereby confirms its authenticity. Accordingly, it has been concluded that the examinees who will attempt those question(s) will be awarded full marks for the same,"

 

Ensuring Fairness

The board emphasized its commitment to prioritizing students' interests.

 

"The board has always given top priority to students’ interests and will ensure that no examinee is deprived,"

 

This decision aims to ensure that no student is unfairly penalized due to the error in the question paper setting.

PAT Scheme in Maharashtra
