VHP Inaugurates Two-Day Meeting in Bhopal for Satsang Expansion

The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has launched its two-day All-India Satsang Department meeting in Bhopal, with the objective of spreading service and values across society. The meeting is being held on August 30th and 31st, 2026, at Hotel Avadhpuri, BHEL, Bhopal.

Approximately 150 individuals are participating, including Satsang heads, co-heads, provincial team workers, and central and regional office bearers from 43 provinces across the country. This gathering aims to foster social awakening and reform.

Spiritual Leaders Emphasize Service and Social Harmony

During the inaugural session, Mahant Shri Ram Pravesh Das Ji Maharaj of Gufa Mandir, Bhopal, blessed the attendees, describing the work of the Vishva Hindu Parishad as 'divine' and its volunteers as 'national patriots'. He stressed the importance of social harmony, stating that the path of devotion to God, transcending caste, has been a part of Indian society since ancient times.

Central Organizing Secretary Shri Milind Parande guided the workers, highlighting the significance of Satsang. He emphasized that Satsang serves not only to awaken society but also as a crucial platform for contemplating social reform.

Focus on Establishing Service and Values Centers

Shri Milind Parande clarified in his address that VHP's Satsang centers should become conduits for spreading 'service and values' among the Hindu community. He set an ambitious goal, referencing the birth centenary year of the late Shri Ashok Singhal Ji, to establish child education centers and service centers through Satsangs in every district headquarters across the nation.

Furthermore, he stressed the necessity for Satsang centers to actively engage with society in endeavors such as providing employment to youth and promoting a drug-free lifestyle.

Meeting Agenda and Key Attendees

The two-day meeting includes key workers from provincial Satsang units nationwide. Prominent attendees present are Central Organizing Secretary Shri Milind Parande, Joint Secretary Shri Koteshwar Sharma, Central Minister and All-India Satsang Chief Shri Basant Rath, Central Co-Minister and All-India Co-Satsang Chief Shri Mahendra Vedak, Madhya Bharat Province President Shri Kisan Lal Sharma, Bhopal Region Organizational Secretary Shri Raja Ram Ji, and Provincial Organizational Secretary Shri Surendra Ji.

The meeting will conclude with a closing session tomorrow, August 31st.
