Student Parliament Elections Conclude at Saraswati Vidya Mandir

Mahoba, August 11, 2026 – An exciting student parliament election concluded on Monday at Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, located in Alha Chowk, Mahoba. Through this democratic process, Vedant Singh from Class 11 'D' secured the position of the school's Child Prime Minister for the 2026-27 academic year. The election was presided over by the school Principal, Shri Kamlesh Singh, and directed by the Student Parliament Head, Shri Ravindra Chaurasia.

Close Contest Marks Academic Year's Election

This year's election was particularly competitive. Following the vote count, Vedant Singh received 87 votes. His main rival, Akshat Singh from Class 11 'A', secured 86 votes, placing him in second position. The decisive margin of just one vote determined the winner in this closely contested election.

Other candidates included Farhan from Class 10 'C', who garnered 49 votes, and Utkarsh from Class 9 'A', who received 40 votes. The results highlighted the strong participation and engagement of the student body.

Transparent Voting and Fair Outcome Emphasized

Principal Shri Kamlesh Singh stated that the voting process, held at the Vandana Sthal, was conducted with utmost transparency, discipline, and in a harmonious atmosphere. Under the supervision of Student Parliament Head Shri Ravindra Chaurasia, both the voting and vote counting were carried out impartially, upholding the dignity of the election.

Upon the declaration of results, all candidates demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, congratulating the newly elected Child Prime Minister Vedant Singh and signing the result sheets. The school fraternity extended its congratulations to Vedant Singh and wished him a successful tenure.
